Due to its appearance, the beef tongue is among the parts of this animal which are less consumed, although the beef tongue has a very high calorie content and a very low fat content. The beef tongue presents a good amount of certain minerals, vitamin B and vitamin C.

Another incentive to encourage those unfamiliar with this delicacy, is its exquisite flavor that will surprise them: served in very thin slices, after removal of the outermost layer, watered with a splash of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. A fantastic delicacy!
